Ascot mainline station is on the Waterloo train line and can be reach by approximately a 15-minute walk. It provides excellent connections to London, Guildford, and Reading. There is also a direct train to Waterloo (55 minutes) departing every 20 minutes except for Sunday.
The famous “Windsor White Bus” runs regularly from the top of St Mary’s Hill (our village) and goes to Windsor via the Great Park.
London Heathrow Airport is approximately a 20-minute drive away and London Gatwick is approximatively a 45-minute drive away. We can support you with a local taxi service if required.
The Haven is very close to the towns of Windsor, Reading, Egham, Staines, Camberley, Bagshot. More information on these and other local towns are listed below.
Just down the road is the famous Royal Holloway University.

Windsor and Eton are a shopper's paradise in the Royal Borough's historical heart, where high street retailers, designer labels, antiques shops and department stores sit alongside quaint, specialist and souvenir shops. In Maidenhead the emphasis is on high street brands but there are also some high-quality independent stores.
Why not walk over the Eton Bridge and follow the quaint main street of Eton until you reach the famous Eton school? Watch out, you never know whose son you may see!

The Royal Manor of Cookham was held by the Crown until 1818 and although many changes have taken place, the village has made the most of its position and is now one of the most popular Thameside resorts, with its many superb restaurants and inns, including Bell and the Dragon dating from 1417, and reputedly one of the oldest licensed houses in England.
Cookham is one of a number of locations along the Thames where the colourful Swan Upping Ceremony takes place during the third week of July. This is the time when the Royal Swankeeper catches all new cygnets and assigns ownership.

Henley is a vibrant town, with plenty going on to entertain everyone all year round. Charter markets are held in the Market Place every Thursday and a farmer’s market is held every third Thursday of each month. Continental markets are also held throughout the year.

Virginia Water, Surrey GU25 4BE
Set in Windsor Great Park, this part is open to the public. Its present area was determined in the 1360s and was popular with Saxon kings as a hunting forest. The park is shrouded in mystery and legend and for over 1,000 years the story of Herne the Hunter has been told.
The park today is the perfect place for picnics, walking, cycling and horse riding. It is accessible from Windsor town centre on foot via the Long Walk, or car parks which are located along the A332 that goes through the Park.
Alternatively, you can drive to Virginia Water and park at Blacknest Gate for a walk around the lake, where you will pass a totem pole and miniature waterfall. Pass by the famous Roman Ruins!
