As a family-run accommodation, The Haven is attached to a large detached house, yet has its own entrance and private off-road parking sitting in 1/3rd acre amidst the quiet, leafy Ascot. Wi-Fi and linen are also included within the rate. All guests will receive our personal welcome, after which they will enjoy total privacy.
Ascot is a hive of activity, not only with Royal Ascot running every year, but it is a small town with many coffee outlets, bars, restaurants and shops. The Victorian village of Sunninghill is two minutes away at the top of our hill. Ascot is also very close to Windsor, Heathrow, and Reading, having excellent links to London Waterloo via mainline train.
Gill is an early retired Senior Manager from British Airways who started a career in hotel management and has been involved in customer service ever since. She runs both The Haven in Ascot and the Enniskerry Cottage in Evercreech together with her husband, Tony.
She has been informed that both their properties offer a cosy home away from home alternative to hotels. They feel that the personal touch they provide via their own websites and third party internet sites is very important. If their guests are happy, then they are happy.
Gill and Tony have travelled extensively and these days they prefer self-catering and cosy "nests" to hotel living. They love people and their leisure time is spent with their little Jazz/blues band, where they offer our music as support for charity events. They are a band of seven; Tony plays guitar and Gill sings! They feel that, after spending their lives preparing for the future, the future is now!
